Program Details
The TYE Academy is a 10 week program, specifically created for high school students and dedicated to fostering future generations of industry leaders by teaching them the rewards and challenges of becoming an entrepreneur. Winning teams compete at the global level for cash prizes.The focus of this academy is also on building a community and creating the next generation of entrepreneurs and business leaders. TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) is a global program based on experiential learning that is geared specifically towards high school students. The goal is to prepare them for a project-based college environment as well as an increasingly entrepreneurial workplace.
The curriculum is designed by the reputed UC Berkeley Professor of Entrepreneurship, Naeem Zafar and taught by several well known speakers in Silicon Valley.
Students will learn from industry experts about the various stages of entrepreneurship. From product ideation, proof of concept, team building, all the way to product launch & pitching. Winning teams compete at the global level for cash prizes. Sessions include- developing an entrepreneurial mindset, leadership, communication, public speaking, and team-building skills.
TiE Young Entrepreneur (TYE) cohort will include:
