In a recent panel discussion at TiEcon 2025, NVIDIA executives including Pradeep Gupta – Vice President, Generative AI & Accelerated Computing, Susan Marshall -Senior Director, Developer Relations, Shanker Trivedi -Senior Vice President, Enterprise Business, Prerna Dogra -Director, Product Management & Developer Ecosystems – Healthcare AI, and Rajani Parameshwar -Senior Director, Corporate Development, shared insights into the company’s vision and mission around AI.

The Evolution of AI

Pradeep Gupta described AI’s journey from perception to generation, and now, to agency. He noted that “AI cannot only think, it can reason about things, it can plan, but it can also do things.” This transformation is being driven by NVIDIA’s full-stack computing platform, enabling innovation across industries.

A Collaborative AI Ecosystem

NVIDIA’s ecosystem includes 22,000 startups, with contributions ranging from small teams to large foundational model companies. Susan Marshall shared, “It could be two guys in a garage that have a great idea… or something like Mistral or sovereign AI.” Shanker Trivedi emphasized NVIDIA’s support for developers, stating, “Nvidia has the world’s best developer program. Notice how much easier nowadays, it has become to write code.”

AI’s Impact on Healthcare

Prerna Dogra highlighted NVIDIA’s mission in healthcare: “To translate the foundation of accelerated computing into tools, technologies, software, and reference applications for the entire healthcare and life sciences ecosystem.” 

Physical AI and the Future

Looking ahead, Pradeep Gupta introduced the idea of “physical AI,” asking, “What if this entire AI we’re talking about takes physical form?” This includes innovations in autonomous vehicles, smart factories, and AI-powered exoskeletons.

Investment and Culture

Rajani Parameshwar discussed NVIDIA’s investment strategy: “We invest mainly where there is a strong strategic thesis. We are checking size and stage agnostics.” Internally, Pradeep Gupta spoke about NVIDIA’s leadership model: “It’s not by command and control, it’s by the influence you create.”
