Ranjana Kottur, Co-founder, Lykke | She Pitches, She Wins | TiEcon 2025

At TiEcon 2025’s “She Pitches, She Wins,” Ranjana Kottur, presented Lykke as the first AI-powered events app focused not on logistics, but on learning, memory, and meaningful engagement.

Conferences Are Memory-Poor Experiences

Ranjana opened with a relatable problem: conferences are information-rich but memory-poor. Attendees try to capture ideas through photos, voice notes, and scribbled notes—but the information quickly becomes unstructured, fragmented, and forgotten. Meanwhile, current event apps help with navigation and scheduling, but don’t support actual learning.

Lykke: Where Ideas Live On

Lykke is an AI-powered companion app for event attendees. It allows them to capture, enrich, expand, and engage with valuable content they experience during conferences—be it keynote insights, workshop ideas, or meaningful conversations. Notes taken in Lykke can be enhanced with auto-generated hashtags, and users can cluster multiple notes to build a richer context around a single topic.

As Ranjana put it, “What’s a note without context?” Lykke ensures that users can return to their notes days or weeks later, expand them, and convert information into lasting knowledge.

For Attendees and Organizers Alike

While Lykke is designed with attendees at the center, it offers great value to event organizers as well. Organizers can integrate Lykke with their existing tech stack or use it as a white-labeled solution. In return, they get insights into attendee engagement, a crucial metric for improving future events.

Lykke empowers organizers to offer a truly interactive and retention-focused event experience, transforming passive attendance into active, ongoing learning.

Real Impact, Real Engagement

Asked about Lykke’s north star metric, Ranjana shared that most attendees forget 80% of what they learn within a week. Lykke’s mission is to change that by helping users return to, enrich, and expand on what they captured—turning ephemeral moments into long-term takeaways.

The platform already has early traction, and a small but passionate founding team is building toward a future where events don’t end when you leave the room.

Ranjana and her co-founder—who is also her husband—lead the effort with a growing engineering team and AI/ML advisors onboard.

Lykke isn’t just another events app—it’s where inspiration becomes knowledge, and ideas live on.
