TiE Silicon Valley recently hosted another edition of Funding Fridays, bringing together a curated group of six startups for focused, one-on-one meetings with Tae Hea Nahm, Co-founding Managing Director at Storm Ventures.
Funding Fridays is designed to create meaningful, high-signal conversations between founders and investors—moving beyond surface-level pitches to practical discussions around fundraising readiness, growth strategy, and investor expectations.
Each participating startup met directly with Tae Hea Nahm in a private 1:1 setting, gaining candid feedback on their fundraising approach, business positioning, and growth trajectory. The conversations centered on how investors evaluate early-stage companies, what drives conviction, and how founders can strengthen their path toward raising capital.
