TiE Silicon Valley Presents: TYE Young Entrepreneurs — Summer 2025 Cohort from July 14th to July 18th, 2025.
The TiE Young Entrepreneur Summer Week-long program, designed for high school students and rising eighth-graders, is dedicated to fostering the next generation of industry leaders by teaching them the rewards and challenges of entrepreneurship. The focus of this academy is also on building a community and creating the next generation of entrepreneurs and business leaders.
About TiE Young Entrepreneurs:
TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) is a global program based on experiential learning, specifically geared towards high school students. The goal is to prepare them for a project-based college environment as well as an increasingly entrepreneurial workplace.
TiE Silicon Valley’s TYE Summer 2025 program offers hands-on training through sessions delivered by experts in entrepreneurship education, led by Naeem Zafar, Professor of Entrepreneurship at UC Berkeley, and Saud Ahmed.
Daily Schedule:
10:00 AM – 12:30 PM: Module 1 of the Day
12:30 PM – 1:00 PM: Lunch Break
1:00 PM – 2:30 PM: Module 2 of the Day
2:30 PM – 3:15 PM: Guest Speaker Session
3:15 PM – 4:00 PM: Group Work (At the TiE office or independently coordinated by student groups outside of the TiE office
Lunch: Please bring your own lunch. The lunch break is strictly 30 minutes.
Snacks: Light snacks will be provided by TiE Silicon Valley.

Session 2: Equity Basics / Design Thinking / Customer Value Proposition
Session 3: Business Models / Market Sizing / Go-to-Market Strategy
Session 4: Financial Modeling / Capital Needs / Fundraising & Storytelling
Session 5: Investor Pitching / Pitch Practice / Final TYE Pitches
