Every great company begins with one idea—and one founder willing to bring it to life.

If you’re a college student with a startup idea or an early-stage venture, TiE University (TiE-U) is your opportunity to learn from experienced entrepreneurs, build your startup, and compete on a global stage.

The TiE-U Global Pitch Competition

Over the next several months and multiple stages, you’ll refine your startup, receive personalized mentorship, and prepare to compete at the highest level.

Whether you’re validating an idea, building an MVP, or already growing your venture, there’s a track designed for your stage. Final track placement will be determined by the TiE-U team based on your application.

  • $20,000 in cash and in-kind prizes (Core & Open Tracks)
  • $100,000+ in equity investment opportunities (Demo-Day Track)
  • One-on-one mentoring, founder workshops, and masterclasses
  • An opportunity for the Top 6 teams to pitch live at the TiE Global Summit (December 14–15, 2026)

Who Can Apply?

Current undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD students, as well as founders who have graduated within the past two years.
