She commended his approachable nature, consistency, and active engagement with entrepreneurs, note-worthy contributions to TiE engagements, and personal dedication to human-to-human relationships above basic policy execution.
As tokens of appreciation, TiE Silicon Valley presented Dr. Reddy with a bouquet, a custom TiE Silicon Valley cap, and a gifted book titled Song of India: A Study of the National Anthem by Rudrangshu Mukherjee.

- Rising Technology & Manufacturing Investments: Major Bay Area tech leaders including Apple, Google, Intel, and Micron continue to expand global capability centers and manufacturing operations across India.
- Startup Collaboration: Cross-border ventures are flourishing, with institutions like the IIT Madras Research Foundation establishing footholds in the US to scale Indian innovations globally.
- Diaspora Engagement Platform: The Consulate is working on a platform powered by AI to connect over 1 million U.S.-based Indian tech and engineering alumni across 30–40 critical sectors (including AI, cybersecurity, and semiconductors) directly with mentors, state governments, and virtual incubator cohorts in India.
Looking Forward to New Horizons
As Dr. Reddy prepares for his ambassadorship in Qatar, he extended an open invitation to the Silicon Valley community to visit, noting the strategic importance of Qatar’s energy ties and vibrant 850,000-strong Indian diaspora. He expressed full confidence in his successor, Satish Sivan, to continue expanding the bridges built during his tenure.
